Aquarium Barcelona
Aquarium Barcelona, located in Port Vell, which is connected to Las Ramblas by a pedestrian bridge, was built in 1995 and now serves as a huge attraction within the city. It includes 35 individual aquariums that make up the whole facility and is home to 11,000 animals representing 450 different species.
Visitors can enjoy the various aquariums including the Oceanarium, Mediterranean, Tropical, Themed, Planet Aqua, Jewels of the Sea and so many more that make it no mystery as to why so many people have come to love this place. There are incredible opportunities such as cage diving with the sharks!
Walk through the water tunnel, get up close and personal with starfish and rays, watch the various feeding times throughout the day and simply soak up the endless fun that is to be had here. It is a great place for families with little to head to and make a day out of it where children can learn, gain knowledge and understand what makes the ocean so remarkable.
