Passeig de Gracia
Passeig de Gracia is the most expensive avenue in Spain in terms of buying and rents and on of the major avenues in Barcelona. Within its boundaries there are also several of the city’s most celebrated pieces of architecture.
The avenue is about 3 kilometers long and runs from Plaça Catalunya through Eixample in a northwesterly direction to Diagonal Avenue. Making your way down this the tree-lined avenue, you will be able to see many notable buildings and sights including Casa Batllo, Museu del Perfum, Casa Antoni Rocamora, Casa Mila, Teatre Tiboli and Jardins de Salvador Espiru amongst several others. Whether you wander the avenue by foot or by bicycle, there is truly so much to marvel at up close and gain a better feel for this highly regarded and important area of Barcelona.
