Disneyland
Disneyland is located in the newer town of Marne-la-Valle, Paris. Disneyland Paris resort was opened on April 12, 1992 and has been wildly successful ever since. Spread out over 19 kilometers (4,800 acres) the resort is made up of two different theme parks, multiple resort hotels, restaurants and dining options, shopping facilities, entertainment complex and a golf course that guests can enjoy while there.
As the second Disney park to open outside of the U.S. followed behind the Tokyo Disney Resort in the year 1983. The parks located on the property are Disneyland Park that is based on both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom as well as Walt Disney Studios Park that showcases movies and show business. There are a total of top five attractions that include It’s a Small World, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain: Mission 2, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Pirates of the Caribbean.
There are of course several other fantastic rides that guests can enjoy along with the shopping, dining and entertainment area of Disney Village that boasts a plethora of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. For those hoping to stay on the resort, Disneyland Parijs features incredible properties including Disney’s Hotel Sante Fe, Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch, Disney’s Newport Bay Club and several others.
